2009 FJ Racing Clinic
The SCYC Junior Sailing Program thanks all who participated in
the 2009 Summer FJ Racing Clinic, that ran June 13-17
(Saturday-Wednesday), from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
It was a great success. The hard work should be rewarded
by a more capable and confident Scholastic fleet for the 2009-2010 season.
This was a unique opportunity for intermediate and advanced
junior sailors who will be entering grades 8-12 in the fall
to learn Flying Junior racing from the best.
The clinic was taught by Joey Pasquali and Max Fraser,
both U.S. Sailing Certified Level 2 Instructors,
and themselves champion racers at the highest levels of competition.
The cost of the five-day clinic was $140.
SCYC Junior members were able to charge their accounts.
Registration instructions were found on the
application form.
Enrollment was limited to 20 sailors.
