A Message from the Commodore

Welcome to the Santa Cruz Yacht Club. SCYC is located in the Northern region of the Monterey Bay. We take pride in our membership’s participation and support of local, regional and worldwide regattas. SCYC enjoys creating a relaxed social environment which promotes fun for the entire yachting community. Cruise-ins are always welcome from other reciprocal yacht clubs.

The Santa Cruz Yacht Club has a great reputation for hosting world class regattas as well as national and local fun regattas. SCYC hosts the annual Day on the Bay Regatta which benefits Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Santa Cruz. In addition the yacht club puts on the Lighted Boat Parade, in December, and is very involved in the community. Our club also has a growing fleet of great Junior and Corinthian sailors. We have a long cruising history outside the Monterey Bay, including the Delta, San Francisco Bay as well as worldwide.
